Highly acclaimed Trumpeter and Composer, Alistair Martin has been described as having a “compelling and visionary sound”. After attending The BRIT School, he was awarded a scholarship to study Jazz at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. His debut album, Oblivion, released in 2021 on Unit Records (Presto Music), was positively reviewed by numerous publications including Jazzthing, Jazz’n’More and Concerto Magazine, and featured on many Spotify editorial playlists (Jazz X-Press, All New Jazz, Jazz Today, Swinging Keys, Jazz Piano Today). Alistair is an active performer with his band James Allsopp, Flo Moore, Eddie Lee and Dave Storey in venues across the UK including 606 Club, The Vortex, and The Verdict.

Alistair is also active as a session player, performing in Alternative Pop artist- Chisara Agor’s multi-disciplinary project ‘Noctornal Sun’ (funded by Britten Pierce Arts, The Arts Council and Help Musicians) which took place at Snape Maltings in 2022, and regularly collaborates with music producers including AJ Productions (KSI, davido), Jay Weathers (Stormzy) and Alex Noorani, recording music for Whizkid, Zlatan Ibile, Col3trane, Finn Foxell, Buju, Darkoo, Odeal, and working with major labels including Sony.
